Painting is a passion I inherited from my grandmother. Born and raised in Wisconsin, my parents created a strong foundation, instilling in me a great love of nature and all creatures. During visits to our grandmother's dairy farm, she encouraged my sisters and me to draw and paint at an early age.

I moved to Texas 30 years ago, revitalizing my style, which is rooted in optimism and capturing life. My primary medium is oil on canvas. I use bold colors and interesting situations to create paintings sparking warm emotion. My work hangs both in private and public collections, and am represented in several Texas galleries.

Inspiration is gained for me through world travel and my own back yard. I am inspired by life, family, friends and all things outdoors. My husband and I live in Texas with our horse and Golden Retriever.
